Setting up SMFL.net in Visual Studio
“SFML provides a simple interface to the various components of your PC, to ease the development of games and multimedia applications. It is composed of five modules: system, window, graphics, audio and network.”

Download

Don’t download through NuGet. Rather, visit page and download from here:

https://www.sfml-dev.org/download/sfml.net/

Add the following as references in your project, by right clicking References in your project in Visual Studio and selecting “Add Reference”:

Browse to the following files in the SMFL.Net/lib folder and install as a reference:

sfmlnet-audio-2.dll
sfmlnet-graphics-2.dll
sfmlnet-system-2.dll
sfmlnet-window-2.dll

Next, navigate to  SMFL.Net/extlibs and copy them to your project root folder (you can right click on the project folder in VS):

Once they are added, make sure “Show All Files” is selected at top of the Solution Explorer pane, and then select all the files you’ve just added and select “properties”

Then select “Copy if Newer”

That’s it. You’re all set up!
