Getting SharpDX up and running with vb.net
Wow. Having to take on DirectX as a hobby coder is like volunteering myself for Love Island (UK). However,  I needed a new graphic rendering solution for a new app, and winform GDI+ just wasn’t going to cut it. So after a while checking options out, finally settled on SharpDX… and got it running… with vb.net!!

It’s taken me a while to get it up and running, but here’s the final product. Me first Direct X rendered window! With responsive graphics! Ooooo!

And here’s a scrappy class that will work in vb.net:
